Bløm Meadworks is not a typical bar. It is a warm, welcoming space built around community, with an incredible lineup of events that make you want to stay and connect. The mead completely changes expectations. It is dry, carbonated, and sessionable at 4 to 6 percent ABV, not heavy or overly sweet. Matt’s brewing background shows in how balanced and drinkable everything is, and the fact that it is gluten free makes it even better. Lauren and Matt are incredible people who have built something special. Ann Arbor is lucky to have Bløm.

cute place with board games and serves cider and mead. got rh raspberry cider and the ginger one and they were good! was able to snag a seat and play board games for a few hours which was fun! also had a tv playing the game.

Our non-profit, Lori's Hands, hosted a fundraising event at Bløm last week. They were absolutely fantastic to work with! The food, drinks, and atmosphere was absolutely perfect for the 25 guests we hosted. Lauren, one of Bløm's owners, was incredibly detail-oriented, punctual, and helpful from start to finish. We are so grateful to have held our event here, and look forward to hosting more in the future! I can't say enough about how great of a spot this is.

I stopped by Bløm just to try their meads, but it’s a really cool space. The interior is bright and warm, and the staff was friendly and informative. I tried a flight of their meads and ciders, and they were surprisingly good. Nothing was cloyingly sweet, and the flavors were well balanced. These meads were on the drier side and quite light, but still flavorful. I think the black currant mead was my personal favorite. I’d definitely recommend Bløm if you already like meads or are looking to try something new.
