Inside a pretty cool place with a wine bar, deli, and this Redwood BBQ. Plenty of open seating. Staff was friendly. Really liked the Brisket Sandwich, pickles were a bit too sour for my liking. Ribs were ok, kind of cold. Definitely would come back for the sandwich minus the pickles

Incredible service, friendly staff, incredible food. The review from my buddy who is a Texas native is all I need to say, " Best barbeque I've had since living in Texas." He's lived in the Midwest for 15 years now. Texas BBQ and Asian food are my two favorite food types and I never thought they could be paired together so well. 10 out of 5 stars, anytime I'm in Ann Harbor I'm getting Ricewood.

This place never misses. The pork belly, brisket, and ribs are easily top 3 BBQ places in MI. They have the best brisket in MI with that perfect amount of smoke. My only disappointment with them is they run out quick so you need to get there as close to opening as possible. Ribs are smoked and seasoned perfectly. BBQ sauce is ok but their flavor and seasoning is so great their food can do without a BBQ sauce. The place stays in regular rotation.

Definitely will be coming back here too. The brick and mortar spot just next to the Bao Bros and a coffee shop/cocktail bar. A simple, yet all well prepared menu. I had the pork belly bowl with sesame cucumbers. Nice portion, beautifully seasoned and cooked meat. I can't wait to stop by and try more. Decent sized line, but they pump out orders pretty fast.
