This place is better than other el pollo locos. For one, the sauce is not diluted. Some other el pollo locos add ice to their salsas as the day progresses so it stays cold but... it also gets more watery. This place keeps it in the fridge. Chicken are ingredients are usually fresh, although occasionally they're not. Sometime it's the tomatoes or onions, but other than that..... it's a nice and good friendly place. Nice people like Julissa who works there

March 17, 2026 2pm. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DO NOT ORDER A BURRITO. You will get 1 bite of guacamole and 3 small bites of shredded chicken. It’s really a bean and rice burrito with cabbage. I use to get burritos here and they had chicken in them and guacamole in almost every bite. The young man didn’t understand what a wanted and then the little lady, Guadalupe, lied to me. She is very sweet and nice but when you ask if there is chunk chicken m, she says yes. More than 2 bite of guacamole mashed into the tortilla, she says yes. L i e s. So you also cannot trust the cooks to give you the proper food.

I watched Natalie, the employee, wipe her nose, wipe her eyes, rub it on her shirt, handle money, and prepare bags of food including mine without ever washing her hands or using gloves. She got an attitude when politely told her I didn’t need a receipt after I paid because she had just wiped her nose. Everyone needs a job, but pay attention to who you’re hiring to handle food. She’s rude, nasty and her appearance is dirty. I’ve lost my appetite.

I have been to many Pollo Locos in the past few months. This restaurant (hands down) is the best one in the area. I visit this restaurant pretty much every weekend. The sauces are great, the employees are amazing too. Thanks for always being a great example of a good clean restaurant.
