Really enjoyed the local Asheville vibe and culture at the Arcade. We were only passing through and only had a short period of time to experience something truly Asheville. Glad we opted to visit the Arcade - beautiful architecture, a wonderful diversity of shops and eateries, centrally located in the heart of the city. Also a very walkable area with outdoor vendors and other nearby shops and restaurants. If you only have a brief period of time to visit Asheville, this is a good place to go!

Beautiful 1920s building filled with delightful shops, including thrift/vintage, a champagne bar/book store combo, a fresh beignet shop, and more! With wrought iron rails and spiral staircases, as well as an impressive number of plants, the interior is lovely and worth strolling through. Clean public bathrooms inside too.
