Izzy’s downtown Asheville is cozy and we love to come here with our golden retriever Milo. The barista Delilah is amazing, not only she makes the best mochas we’ve ever had, but she’s polite, friendly, and always gives our dog a treat. So why am I leaving 3 Star review? Because sadly the other barista who we don’t know the name (always wears a mask, shoulder length hair, cap and glasses) is the very opposite of that. After being completely ignored by the barrista while standing at the counter for at least 5 minutes with my 2 adult family members, we left. There may have been one other customer, could have been an employee, and us. The barrista seemed to be making coffee at the machine within a few feet of me. There's no way they didn't see me and my family standing there. Not a "hello, be right with you," no smile, no eye contact, nothing. How disappointing after a long day of driving, then shopping. We just wanted to relax with some iced coffee. We were even talking, so I'm sure they could hear us.

Hole in the wall coffee place that can be hard to miss but hard to forget. Super chill vibes, lowkey atmosphere and nice lighting. Great for a first coffee date or catching up with an old friend. Love the setup with tables and decor. Freshly roasted coffee beans as well for sale. Barista was super friendly and cool guy. La Marzocco espresso machine as well; you know they take their coffee seriously. Full bodied dark roast espresso was delicious; lots of heavy notes and deep flavor throughout.
