I had read a couple of bad reviews on this restaurant, but I decided to give it a try anyway. And to my joy and happiness, the crew was friendly and professional AND my order was perfect. The Catfish steaks and fillets were fried perfectly, crisp on the outside and delicate on the inside. Thanks guys for a great experience. I guess this goes to show that you have to judge for yourself.

This was the worst I have ever had catfish fillets that are not catfish actually it’s frozen so Swai and they never have catfish steaks. J&J has went down over the years and now they will never receive any more money from me. And this is for the one at 87th and Damien and any other ones, just sad

The food was inedible. I ordered the chicken special (2 wings, 2 thighs, 2 legs) and catfish nuggets. The guy on phone was rushing and even though I said don't fry it hard a couple of times, the catfish was a brick, cold and looked like it had been refried more than once. The chicken was black to the bone. Not sure what happened-new cook, new management- but it has turned me off this location.
