The service was good at first. We were greeted when we walked in and we took a look at the menu. It was our first time there since we were visiting from out of town so they gave us a few recommendations and we ordered our food. We then sat down at a table since it was self seating. We didn’t get our waters until after our food was served which is fine I understand they get busy. The food didn’t take too long. We ordered 3 dishes. This place is a waffle delight. The variety of flavors takes me to my happy place. The peach cobbler is 🔥. The low country boil waffle 🔥. The workers gave the best customer service. Am I going back? Yes...many more times.

I came here over the weekend and was very pleased with my experience. The atmosphere is amazing. I loved the Jazz that was playing, gave the area a nice ambiance. Food is cooked to order so it was a wait but worth it. The Strawberry waffle was amazing. I also had the veggie omelet, I added turkey sausage and to wash it down I had the COE Sunrise. I personally wouldn’t get the drink again but would get a smoothie. I couldn’t get past the taste of the collards in the sunrise. Everything was under $35 and to me well worth it. Really enjoyed my visit.

My husband and I had brunch at The Cafe on 8th, and it was such a great experience! They have some really unique waffles, and we tried a few different dishes, but The Down Home (stuffed chicken, bacon, and collard waffle) was easily our favorite. The waffle had collard greens and chicken mixed in, and the dip on the side just took it to the next level. So good! I also loved the Peach Palmer—super refreshing. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, which made the experience even better. Everything was cooked fresh, and we could watch as the cook prepared the dishes. We ordered at the register s
