Please avoid going at this place at all cost. The staff doesn’t know the basic of wrapping a sandwich and this is how they serve you a falafel sandwich. The staff is not middle eastern which is easy to understand, but should at least be trained before being at the counter to take orders. When asked how will I eat this unwrapped sandwich - the guy said this is how we serve. And pretends to be the manager which he definitely is not. My coworker and I stopped into Halal Guys totally by chance during some office visits. We were driving down Alameda looking for lunch, saw the sign, and immediately turned in. We both got the beef gyro platter and it was great. Halal Guys is always solid! The food is tasty, the ingredients are fresh, and you know exactly what you’re getting. But that’s not actually why I’m writing this review. I’m writing this review because of Marcus. That guy is fantastic! Honestly, I’ll probably come back here for lunch next time I’m in Aurora just because of him. He’s welcoming, funny, and clearly love

Tried the regular platter at Halal Guys Aurora with chicken as the protein — it was around $13.50, and honestly, pretty solid for the price. The portion is big for one person and okay enough for two people to share. The chicken had good marination, and the sauces mixed into the rice were great. I’ve ordered from here twice now, and the food has been consistently good. The only downside is the service. Even when there’s no line, the staff feels rushed and a bit irritated, which takes away from the overall experience. Food-wise, it’s a 5/5, but overall I’d give the place 4 stars.

I came hear to eat the day before, hoping it would be a good experience after a workout. I got a double portion of chicken, half rice, lettuce, white sauce and a line of hot sauce. It tasted fair but within the next 6 hours after consumption… I was profusely vomiting and experiencing all types of cramps… DO. BETTER.
