I always enjoy going to Firehouse Lounge. I love the speakeasy feel and the hidden entrance. The bartenders are always friendly and they make great drinks. The prices are more than reasonable. And the best part is the live music and vibes. They always bring great artists that bring energy and fun. This is easily one of my favorite spots in Austin.

Firehouse Lounge is such a cool spot and one of the highlights of the Austin trip. The entrance through a bookshelf in the door never gets old and immediately sets the tone for the whole experience. The decor inside is really well done and the dark moody atmosphere works perfectly. We happened to catch a live show by Brooklyn band Watergun which was a wonderful surprise. A really fun and unexpectedly great night - the kind of place that rewards a spontaneous visit. Highly recommend.

Great little speakeasy tucked into the hostel of the same name. Adrian took care of us during a HH back in February, and gave us some great recommendations and the code to a nearby bar, which we ventured into immediately after. Go for the killer cocktails, and stay for the excellent service and vibe!

Went here with some fire buddies and their wives yesterday around 6-7pm. Told them it was a bad ass place with good drinks. Had no idea they were going to have retro soft core porn playing on the TVs. Full nude, full sex scenes, showing everything. Saw a few people come in and look up at the TV, then just leave. We had one drink and left. The bar tender spent more time staring at the TV then making drinks. You could tell he was happy to have it on.
