The Onion is a solid, casual pizza spot that’s easy to like. The pizza came out hot with a nicely baked crust and plenty of toppings, and the slices held together well—no messy, soggy middle. The menu is straightforward, the prices feel fair for the portion size, and it’s a good place to grab a quick bite without overthinking it. Service was friendly and moved at a decent pace, even when it got a little busy. Not a life-changing pizza, but definitely a reliable place I’d return to for a simple, good meal. Five star pizza - kinda divey looking, but clean & friendly. Service was great, pizza was excellent. The sauce is spicy - not exactly arrabbiata-hot, but hot nonetheless. Actual NY style (except for the heat in the sauce). Open late, late night - would absolutely visit again.

Great pizza, service is decent. I work downtown so I love how close it is to get a bite. However, as of Jan 22 2026 this place is CLOSED I don’t know why when it clearly says they’re open. Very disappointed.
