The food was really good! Prices aren't terrible, but they've definitely been creeping up lately. It's tough to find a place that does okra right, but theirs was spot-on—crispy, flavorful, and just perfect. The meat was mostly lean with just enough fat to give it that extra delicious flavor without being greasy. Our waitress was super pleasant and friendly. It was pretty busy when we went, so it took a bit longer to get everything for our whole party, but that's totally expected at a popular spot like this. Service awesome, very kind people, clean etc… but the brisket very brown and subpar, bologna seems like its sandwich Oscar Meyer type bologna that’s been smoked… ribs were great, onion rings AMAZING, cobbler is solid! But slaw is mid and overall mediocre bbq. But I have not tried all their sides or other meats.. so who knows.

We purchased a half order of onion strings, a mild sausage plate with coleslaw and pinto beans, a sampler platter (brisket, sausage, ribs, with sides of okra and curly fries), and a Shiner Bock.
