In 1976, a 17-year-old George Karalis left Greece to live the American Dream in America. But his plans were delayed at the beginning as he began his new life as a dishwasher. However, within a month, he was promoted to cook, an occupation he would continue to embrace to this day.

I have never had to wait for a table at lunchtime, but I think there might be longer waits at breakfast. I had the signature french toast, a side of sausage links and a pop. Total bill was just under $25 for my lunch meal. There is plenty of free parking and the facility is handicapped accessible. They have booths and tables. Our server was all business-- very efficient, knew the menu well and was able to answer all of our questions. She was very attentive and checked on us
