Admittedly we were lured to Wink & Nod by the visiting chef Howell. The food met the moment with the fish. Jamaican patty purists be warned the dish is much closer to something British but delicious all the same. My wife and I enjoyed the cocktails very much with my personal favorite being the Old town road Ian F was great to us and kept good tabs on our needs - he helped make the evening that much more memorable.

I love the vibes here. The decor is nice. I love the chandelier of course. I went when it was chef Valentine Howell (Dorchester resident) had his menu. It s a rotating 6 month timed menu! And I can’t stop thinking about the cod arancini !! I’ve never had cod or seen anything like this. I really enjoyed the sauce it came with. The chicken was pretty good. The steak was yummy!! Tender. Overall I would highly recommend it! Especially now.

There is an Afro Caribbean pop Up shop at Wink & Nod by black cat eatery, Chef Valentine. The food was so good. We really enjoyed the oxtail ragu, cabbage and diri djon djon (black Haitian rice. Jesse was our waiter and he mixed great cocktails for us. This speakeasy is beautiful inside. I will be back!
