Karl Smith★★★★★If you’re looking for a great Basque tapas spot in Boston, this place is such a fun find. It’s cozy, lively, and perfect for sharing a bunch of plates with friends and just taking your time enjoying some truly spectacular food. The Pimientos Rellenos de Bacalao were seriously good—sweet roasted peppers stuffed with creamy, flaky salt cod that felt rich but not too heavy. The Croissant de Ibérico was the only disappointment: The jamón Ibérico was perfectly salty, rich and practically melted on the tongue; the croissant however was rather rubbery and a let down. You’ve got to order the Pan con
jade Li★★★★Tried this cozy Basque-style spot near Boston Common and overall had a great experience. Drink was refreshing and well-balanced (even the non-alcoholic option was impressive). Food highlights: *The chicken hearts were surprisingly tender and flavorful. *The beef cheek was the standout—super soft and literally melts in your mouth. *Foie gras was nicely done with a subtle sweetness. Portions are on the smaller side, so definitely get more bread to soak up the delicious sauces. Overall, a solid spot for a casual night out with good vibes and a few standout dishes!
Stephanie Brandao Carvalho★★★★Low key, neighborhood hangout vibe. It was packed at 9:15pm on a Saturday. We arrived about 10-15 mins before our reservation time but were seated rather promptly. Everyone from the hostess to all the wait staff was lovely, friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. They acknowledged the note I included about celebrating a birthday which was a nice touch, most places completely ignore the reservation notes. Food was very tasty, we enjoyed everything we ordered. I will say that a couple of the dishes, the bacalao cheeks especially, weren’t super elevated and were on the smaller side
Marco TheItalian★★★★★Nice location in beacon hill…. Tables available outside along the street. Food is very good and tasty. This is not the usual Spanish place but it is more oriented on small plate ( really max 2 bites) and tapas. Larger plates are available but I didn’t try. Overall the quality is very good and great match of flavors. The seri d sis great and very friendly. Cost is not cheap… keep in mind that the portions are small so you need to order many plates. Recommended …. I am going back!
