We were in the area for an appointment and stopped in for brunch. The chicken fried chicken was excellent, over medium eggs were perfectly cooked and hashbrowns nice and crispy. The chicken waffles had the same chicken fried chicken which was also cooked to perfection. Nice and juicy! The service however was awful. He forgot the toast and then, when reminded, it arrived when we were finished. We also waited forever for our bill and the place was close to empty. Not impressed. It is a great, little place with historic photos, murals and great old-fashioned lighting.

We stumbled upon this diner and so so glad we did. It is basic in the BEST of ways! Our breakfast was good and flavorful and most importantly it came out pretty quickly. They have an extensive drink list as well if you are looking for that with your food as well. Def give this place a try!

I cannot say enough positives. My experience was wonderful. We ended up eating in the bar area because they have tables their and it was less crowded since I have a service dog. The wait staff was top notch from the moment I walked I the door until the moment I left. They were polite, friendly, so very respectful and easy going. I got tater tots and their tuna salad sandwich and the tots were nice and perfectly crispy and the tuna fish was grilled to a perfect temp and tjey even worked with my lactose intolerance. I would recommend this place with no issues.

Amazing chicken and waffles! The chicken is tender, crispy, and fresh. The waffles are large and perfectly cooked. The gravy is great. Both the savory and sweet options were delicious. Huge portion! Definitely has leftovers to take home.
