I visited Dairy Queen on 02/22/2026 around 7:30 PM with my grandparents. We all ordered crispy chicken salads, something we used to order often years ago and now go to DQ every now and then I’ve never had a problem at other locations. When we received our food, the salads were served in taco shells, which immediately seemed incorrect. I politely told the employee who handed us the food (I believe her name was Ana, though I’m not 100% sure) that our order might be wrong and explained that I had never received a chicken salad like this before. She told me it was the “new version” of the chicken

I ordered two belt busters with cheese and bacon at 12:00. The drive thru cashier was really rude and I know it’s normal to pull up and wait but after 10 minutes of waiting I decided to go inside. I asked them about my order and they said it was not done yet. The inside of the restaurant was nasty and not clean. I almost canceled my order but starvation and the fact that it’s lunch rush everywhere I waited. I got my food and both burgers had no cheese or bacon and the fries were cold. Dairy Queen – Big Springs, TX Stopped here for a quick bite while passing through on Easter weekend, and honestly, I wish we hadn’t. The food was barely edible—everything tasted like it had been fried in old, rancid oil. Couldn’t even finish my meal. The only saving grace was the staff—super sweet and attentive, which is the only reason this gets 2 stars instead of 1.

This place is a joke. The drive thru handles one car/order at a time. Meaning they take the order of the car at the radio, the car goes to the window, next car moves up, and they don't take the order until the first car has there's and has driven away. I was in the drive thru for behind two cars for 20 mins, then sat in front of the radio for 15 mins. With no order. I pulled forward to the window and wait another 5 mins before some came to the window to take my order. In the entire time I was waiting I counted 6 other vehicles that pulled out of line and left.
