We got recommended this place by some of the locals. We will absolutely be back if we are in the area again. Jaycee was our server, she was an absolute delight. Very well informed about the menu, and was very sweet and kind. The uptowner quesadilla appetizer was a surprisingly new twist on a steak quesadilla 😂, but delicious 😋 I had the Mahi Savannah, they didn’t have anymore mahi and it was made with snapper, it was superb over the grits and the sauce with the shrimp were perfect. My husband had the seafood Stuffed Portabellas, which were also amazing. The sauce was phenomenal.

Our lunch was one of the best we had on our month-long trip to Florida and Mississippi. We had charbroiled oysters as an appetizer and they were incredible. I also had the redfish and my husband had the French Dip. We shared my side, a sweet potato crème brûlée, which served as a delicious dessert for us. Kat, our server, was awesome. She was very friendly and provided impeccable service. It was a wonderful dining experience!

This place was fantastic! We had a group of at least 24 people, and that could be a nightmare on both fronts. However, the service was outstanding, we had Vincent, who was very personable and on top of it. However, what started the evening was Wayne preparing multiple tables for this insanely large group that I was a part of. He was professional and happy to accommodate us. If you’re in Biloxi and even remotely like oysters, Half Shell Oyster House is a must. First of all, the oyster dishes here are on another level. You absolutely have to try at least one (or several) of their oyster options. What really sets this place apart is the sauces—they’re clearly not an afterthought. Each oyster dish comes with its own unique sauce, and you can tell a lot of care went into balancing flavors. Rich, buttery, savory, and perfectly seasoned without overpowering the oysters themselves. We also ordered steak, and honestly, it exceeded expectations. The steak was cooked well
