Service was impeccable! The flavors of the food from beginning to end were immaculate! One of the best dining experiences I have had. Bishop was our server and he was awesome! The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the Margarita Sunrise that I ordered was not very good. But none of the food missed! We had the oyster and okra for an appetizer. The red snapper and scallops and the Duck breast were entrees.

After researching several restaurants in downtown Birmingham for my husband’s 40th birthday dinner, we ultimately chose Café Dupont after speaking with Samantha — and I’m so glad we did. From the very beginning, she made the entire planning process feel effortless and truly understood how important it was for this milestone celebration to feel special. I needed accommodations for a party of 12, and Samantha offered us a more private dining experience in the bar area, separated from the main dining room, which ended up being perfect for our group. We arrived a little early and enjoyed cocktail

We did not come prepared for the three course culinary experience but did enjoy one of the best seared scallop entrees and beignets! Artfully plated and filled with flavor! Next time we prepare for the full experience so we can enjoy the oysters and fried okra! Psst, they have a pallet cleanser between courses and an incredible house made salted chocolate as you check out! OUTSTANDING!
