I ordered the 1/2 lb brisket with three sides: smoked mac and cheese, collard greens, and cornbread. Unfortunately, the meal was disappointing. The biggest letdown was the smoked mac and cheese. It had no cheese, wasn’t creamy, and lacked flavor—even salt. The pasta shells weren’t coated in any sauce and it felt like the dish was rushed. Had I checked it before leaving, I would have asked for a replacement. I have photos to demonstrate. They have a wooden crate at each table with a wide variety to choose from. They do not skimp out on the Mac n cheese and I was thoroughly impressed. Perfect cheese pull with every bite.

I've eaten BBQ in the Carolinas before. This is every bit as good. I had brisket and pulled pork, with a side of baked beans and potato salad. All amazing. The brisket was tender, and oh so juicy, the bun it was sitting on soaking ut up. The pulled pork was fall apart tender and full of flavor. Sauces are on the table and range from an apple butter sauce to spice levels that will make your lips tingle. Good value for money, friendly staff. Next time I think I'll try the ribs.

The food was absolutely delicious: juicy brisket, flavorful ribs, and incredible homemade sauces. You can really taste the quality and care put into every dish.
