We used to live in Bowling Green and moved away about three years ago. Well when we passed through Bowling Green today on a road trip, the one restaurant we said we had to stop at was Local Taco and wow our memories did not deceive us. The food is amazing, the staff are so friendly, and we always are so surprised by how affordable our check is at the end of the visit. Highly recommend the Baja Shrimp tacos and the perfect level of thickness chips.

Had not been back to local taco since its grand opening.. and I'm sad that I missed this goodness for so long. Server was very pleasant and tables were wiped but not necessarily clean. However, the tacos more than made up for that oversight. The place was busy but food came out quickly. Had the nashville hot chicken and blackened grouper tacos, which were delicious. The mixed veggies were piping hot, but I was not overly enthusiastic about all of the onions. Overall I highly recommend trying this place and I will be back.

Came as a recommendation from friends who live in the area and swear by it. It’s definitely white people mexican food. One if the sauces on my tacos reminded me of the Panera Asian Sesame Salad Dressing. Very tasty. The side of beans were disgusting.
