A small cafe with a down home charm. We were greeted with a smile, introduced to the new owner and sat at a small table with a booth seat (85 y/o approved!) We critiqued a local artists watercolors on the wall in front of us, lovely pieces and priced to sell. The coffee was good and they offered plenty more. Breakfast came out quickly. I had a basic 2 egg breakfast, Mom a toasted corn muffin and some bacon. We were there for a long liesurely brunch. We were tended to, but not hurried. Just no. Ordered the Lemon ricotta pancakes they came out uncooked, wifes skillet plate was tasteless and she was choking it down, our 5 year old liked her food but her pancake was also uncooked. The water tasted liked bleach we literally had to bring our waters in to drink because the water is so bad. I am not upset at all but I have to leave an honest review. I would not come back here. Thank you for the French Toast offer and the parfait. We gladly declined after all the other food experienced. The parfait that was brought out was also old.
