We love Carmelo's. The owners are very kind and often are back there working just as hard during the rush times. We usually do pick up but the inside sit down area is very nice. My job also buys from them all the time for pizza days and meetings. The meat lover's pizza, the chicken parm, and the Italian hoagies are some of the best around. I'm happy to support such a landmark of Bridgeton, and I'm sure you will be too.

I used to order from Carmelo’s all the time, but I have gone through bad experiences with them. First, I can’t even call from my number because they don’t allow me to order food for some stuff that doesn’t even make sense. Second, my husband went yesterday to pick up a pizza and the lady was being rude and it looked like she didn’t even want to be there. And third, pizza came burnt from the crust. One time they even gave me food that wasn’t cooked properly and was still cold from the inside.

This pizza shop is a rip-off—- I just moved here from Philadelphia, and although I like the area the pizza and wing spots are out of control with pricing etc… I ordered one large plain pizza and it came to $22 and some change——and it’s was mediocre at best with tiny slices …Pham a large pizza in Philly is tops $12.50 This is because there are not many competitors in The area, and as a result they can charge and steal accordingly - and get away with it!! The surrounding area may be somewhat parochial and as a result the people just accept it and not be receptive to being economically pulled
