We got there around 7 without reservations and it was going to be quite a wait for a table. The hostess recommended bar seating for faster seating which worked out great for us. Atmosphere was pretty loud but not so loud as to prevent conversation. A loud buzz of background voices but comfortable. Lighting was dimmer than I prefer but not dark at all. My husband and I visited this restaurant during our trip to Milwaukee while traveling from Southern California. We stopped by on a Thursday night, and there was over an hour wait. We noticed that guests with reservations were being seated, so reservations are definitely recommended. We decided to sit in the bar area, which still gave us access to the full menu.
