I made a visit to local legend, The Park Restaurant, on a recent trip down south from NYC—and let me just say, what a solid breakfast spot. I go out of my way to stop here every time I’m in town because of the delicious breakfast at a reasonable price. The eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection, hash browns beautifully golden and crispy. And the biscuits, they TRULY give me life! Anything I have ever ordered is always high quality. I also think it’s cool how they choose to spotlight other local businesses on their coffee mugs and give back to their community. The waitstaff is super friendly

My friend and I met here as a halfway point for breakfast. The parking lot was full when we arrived, so I was worried about a wait. There is parking on the side road next to the restaurant if the lot is full. I called to check on the wait time, and the lady who answered was very nice and helpful. She took my name so that we could be seated when we came it. Our server Cameron was very polite and efficient. Our food was served quickly and it was hot. We had the breakfast sampler and steak and cheese omelette. Both entrees were good.

The service was really friendly. My only complaint is that when they're done with you, they're done. When we were almost finished eating, our server brought the bill and left, never to return. I still needed a box, which I had to request from another server. Then I wasn't sure if we paid our server or got up to pay. For those who aren't regulars, you pay at the register near the door. I was told by the cashier they forget that not everyone is a "regular" sometimes. The food was absolutely fantastic. The bacon was just the right amount of crispy for me, which is a feat in and if itself.

The appetizer onion rings are homemade!! Wonderful service. Excellent food. Loved the cheese grits. Great value; portions, and prices are excellent.
