A very cute place to stop by and check out. But the menu is kinda misleading, it said it had hand bread chicken which we assumed meant the chicken sandwich and tenders. But unfortunately it was just the chicken legs and thighs that were hand breaded. The tenders and fries are almost $13 for 3 frozen tenders and a few mid par fries, and no drink. But it does come with 2 sauces. The burgers also weren’t anything special. And their fried mushrooms tasted like they were from a jar or can. Preface to say: In my opinion, a 5 Star rating is reserved for things that exceed my expectations. This was our first time eating at Jack's. We happened to drive past it and decided to give it a try. From the outside, it was clean, colorful, and inviting, especially with the Valentine's decorations on the windows. While it is a drive-in, orders need to be placed inside. As we entered, we found a very small lobby, with a large digital menu board, and t o cashiers. The menu options are expansive and there is something for everyone. I’m sad to say we have gone to Jack’s for the last time. Jack’s has been a staple in our family for 4 generations. Our grandparents had dates there in their teens. They brought their eventual kids (our parents) and the tradition has continued on through the years. Unfortunately, our children will not have the same memories. We went the other day ,on a whim, because it had been a while. We bounced around 5 guys, Smash Burger, and Jimmy John’s but settled on Jack’s. I’ve driven past Jack’s so many times since we moved to Caldwell, and it’s always been a place I wanted to try. It absolutely delivered. The burgers were great, the onion rings were fantastic, and what makes it even better is that they have fry sauce, which means you can dunk everything you order. The employees were awesome and the whole vibe is just fun. Pulling up, ordering, and eating in your car felt like being a kid again. Highly recommend.
