Manoa Poke Shop has built a reputation as the closest thing to authentic Hawaiian poke in the Boston area, and for the most part that reputation holds up. The fish quality is the foundation of everything here and it shows, with large chunks that are fresh and well marinated without being drowned in sauce. The spicy tuna is the stronger of the two, with a heat level and seasoning that actually comes through in each bite. The spicy salmon is decent and the fish itself is fresh, though it does not quite hit the same high as the tuna, leaning a little more restrained in flavor than the name might

Had to got my login to my second email to give another review. This is my second time at Manoa Poke Shop, and it just keeps getting better. The food is seriously addictive I cleaned my plate and was still craving more. Fresh, flavorful, and packed with that perfect poke taste. Now I officially have a go-to spot whenever I’m delivering mail in the area and need a quick, delicious bite. Highly recommend!

I got the spicy tuna and salmon shoyu mix bowl. I think I had high expectations for this place because of all the reviews. I think both the proteins were very fresh. I do think the spicy tuna was not spicy and could have surprisingly used a little more flavor. I think the cucumber salad could have been a little more fresh. I also got the guava cake — the actual cake was a little dense but still enjoyable and the guava frosting was absolutely delicious. I do think both the poke bowls and dessert were on the pricier side.
