I was visiting Boston (actually Cambridge area) for the first time and decided to check out Punjabi Dhaba in Inman Square – what a fantastic choice! As someone new to the region, I wanted to try some classic Indian dishes, and this spot delivered. I ordered: • Chole samosa – this was hands-down the best thing I had! The chole were perfectly spiced, flavorful, and hearty, and the samosa was crispy and delicious. Such a winning combo. • Plain dosa and masala dosa – both were solid, with a nice crispy texture and good potato filling in the masala one. Tasty South Indian classics done right. •

Good food. Home cooked feel. You can watch them cook it up behind counter diner style. Not as spicy as I expected which is nice. I'm sure you can turn up hear if desired . Dining in meals served on old school large metal trays! Lots on menu and family run. Small space only 3 tables. Three outside seats and city benches.

I’ve eaten here many times and it is an incredible place for affordable, delicious, legit Indian food. If you can stay, get a platter and eat it out in the plaza. Key dishes are the ones you’d expect: chicken tikka, paneers, samosas, etc. Chole masalewala (chickpeas!) is a favorite.
