I ordered a cold Italian hero aka hoagie. Downfall was it had balsamic on it instead of red wine vinegar. Just not what you put on an Italian - it’s too sweet. Being from the east coast and the other reviews I had high hopes. But this just didn’t fit what I was hoping for. There was a bit too much lettuce too. Otherwise staff and service was great. Not a true east coast style deli in Denver unfortunately but good service.

First time stopping at this little gem of a deli before getting back on I-25. It was lunch time, but I was still able to get a breakfast sandwich. I got the Baby Kong Breakfast Sandwich and it exceeded my expectations as it was a simple sandwich made really well with a fresh kaiser roll and it hit the spot on this cold and windy day. Friendly staff. The rest of the menu looks delicious. Will definitely stop in again!

5/1/24- I had seen this place over the years when I went next door for popcorn, but had never stopped in. Then I was surprised to find it open one morning and stopped in. The worker was really friendly and made suggestions on what to try. They serve breakfast all day. It was totally worth the stop. My sandwich was really good and the bread was amazing soft.

Update at bottom… Community Alert for Locals and Travelers: Don’t be misled by the glowing reviews—my recent experience at this deli was deeply disappointing. While the staff member I spoke with was polite and offered to remake my sandwich, the core issue wasn’t in the preparation, but in the quality of the ingredients themselves.he also asked that I not leave a bad review but…. The bacon was clearly pre-cooked and microwaved, the ham was shriveled and tasted old, and the hash browns somehow managed to be both mushy and overly crunchy in the worst way.
