This might be our new go-to sushi spot! It was very quiet and serene while we were there for lunch, very relaxing. We started with the shrimp shumai which were so yummy! Then we had the sushi omakase and the fish was so fresh; the uni really tasted like the sea! Lastly, we had some of their scallion pancakes which were absolutely fantastic. Can’t wait to go back again soon!

Popped in for a quick lunch because we were in the area and had a fantastic time!!! HIGHLY recommend the seared big eyed tuna app (didn’t get a picture because we ate it so fast), the spicy garlic edamame (same here), and the jazz roll (middle most roll in photo). Our waiter and sushi chef both came over multiple times to check in, chat a bit, and tell us about where they were able to source such fresh fish. I first visited Sakura when searching for a good sushi spot in greater Denver that wasn't overpriced, and it quickly became one of my favorites! I've heard colleagues cite other restaurants as the "best" but I've found that the most popular ones tend to have smaller menus with much higher prices. I've found Sakura to be a great combination of selection, price, and fresh quality/taste. We had intended to try monks Indian, but they were closed so we came here instead. So glad we did. Very accommodating to my service dog and request for a half booth. I had the black dragon and hubby had the Philly. A large sake completed the home run. Everything was absolutely delicious and our server Wendy was a doll keeping drinks refilled and just the right amount of checking in. Would definitely recommend. As an aside we loved the music they were playing.
