Absolutely fantastic BBQ! Take it from a KC native, this is top tier. Delicious pit beans that are made from scratch with a whole lot of extra goodies in there. Mac & cheese that is insane. And an array of sauces that really nail every variety so nicely. Don't miss out on the potato salad if you love a good mustardy flavor. Excellent. Buzz is a great guy and the service is as good as the food.

This review is long overdue as we regularly come to South End for breakfast and dinner. All of the food is delicious and consistent and the staff is so friendly but one thing you MUST KNOW… the brisket egg and cheese biscuit is quite possibly the best thing that I’ve ever had in my life and frankly it’s a work of art. I’ve never been a biscuit fan but this biscuit is unlike any other and in a class of its own! This place continues to be our go to and highly recommended! An absolute must try!

So I've actually only been here for breakfast... But since trying breakfast here we've been back a lot. Their pancakes were the best I've ever had!! I didn't know pancakes could be like this. I love how it's both fluffy but also slightly crispy and they aren't too dense. The whipped butter with them is delicious Their omelette tasted just like a home cooked one! The veggies were fresh and still had a little crunch in there-- not overcooked.
