ever since the new owners have taken over, this place has become a can’t miss spot. i work late so it’s one of the few spots in town i can rely on being open when i get off work, the food is consistently good and the ingredients are fresh. they just did a remodel of the inside as well. my favorite is the chicken bacon ranch zone and the tiramisu shouldn’t be slept on either

i understand that this business has a new owner and ive ordered from them 3 times since then in the last month and a half. delivery took an hour and a half, food was cold. second, my bbq chicken came without bbq and bacon, and my last ranch buffer today came so undercooked i decided to put it in my own oven to finish cooking it for them. ive been eating dp dough for the better part of the last 15 years but i wont be ordering from this place ever again.

Review written 11/20/2024. Located on the edge of the UIUC campus, this is a calzone pickup and delivery restaurant. If you order online you can get some deals and discounts. Tasty and hot and fresh. However, the calzone did not have much cheese in it. It had tons of ranch in it but they did not put much cheese in it. Also, the crust is very dry. Only giving 3 stars for atmosphere because they had super loud music playing to the point the employee couldn’t hear my name for pickup order even when I tried to like shout my name. Also the menu on the counter to look through was pretty dirty and

Update #2: I emailed the address provided in the reply to my review but no one ever got back to me. Update: the last month the cheese is barely noticeable. I even ordered extra cheese mix the second time (times are tough!) but it wasn’t even honored. We tried one more time and it was still very disappointing. I get that things are expensive right now but I was open to just buying additional cheese mix and I STILL didn’t get any cheese. Also, the fillings aren’t spread out anymore so you get a bite of just one filling and it’s nowhere else in the calzone; I had to open it up and move the stuf
