I went to Babas on Cannon for breakfast with my boyfriend. We ordered a matcha, honey whipped espresso, and two potato tacos. All of that was a little over $20 after tax which I feel like is on the cheaper side when it comes to cafes, especially in Charleston. There was a line outside the door the entire time we were there and the food/drinks were really good. The seating was very limited, they have two table top areas with chairs and then two stand up tables. They do have some tables outside.

The place was absolutely bumping, but the staff kept things moving quickly and efficiently. The iced vanilla matcha was fantastic — smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Babas is one of those cute locations that you won't forget. The peanut latte and the salted banana bread will be those things you also won't forget! So delicious. So unique! I didn't get to try anything else from there, while visiting, but I'm glad I was able to try the 2 most popular!
