Angeline’s is one of our favorite restaurants in downtown Charlotte. Every time we’re in town, we make it a point to come back - especially for the ricotta and freshly baked bread, which are simply unforgettable. My girlfriend and I celebrated our 11th anniversary at Angeline’s, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. She ordered the steak and said it was probably the best steak she’s ever had, and I have to agree, it was absolutely phenomenal. I had the chicken piccata, and it was easily the best I’ve ever tasted. Every dish was prepared perfectly and exceeded our expectations. What an awesome experience. Service was excellent as well as the food . The staff was upbeat from the time I walked in . I had the pleasure of interacting with Teryl our server. Otis table touched several times and you can tell he was the manger in duty. Now the best part the food. The meatballs was a great portion enough to share. The Ricotta and sourdough bread was tasty.Salmon was delicious. Don't forget the sangria and the birds if fall drink. Dessert was tasty I had a chocolate hazel nut torte.

I stayed at the Kimpton Hotel with Angeline’s as the main restaurant. It is a great place with inside and outside seating. The atmosphere is calm due to no televisions and well-spaced seating. The service was solid across three meals there. Dinner was quite good with ample choices. I had the Cesar salad and fish special which was Alaskan cod. Dessert was great too including La Colombe coffee. Breakfast has a narrow menu although very good. Portions are on the larger side. Definitely a place to go if in that section of Charlotte downtown.
