I’ve tried a lot of boba places, and TsaoCaa really stands out. The fruit tea is super fresh and refreshing, you can taste the real fruit in every sip. The milk tea is smooth with a strong tea flavor, not overly sweet like many other places. We also ordered the boneless Korean fried chicken and wings, and they were perfectly crispy and juicy. The corn dog and eggettes are also a must-try. Everything feels freshly made and high quality. The store is clean, bright, and has a great atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best boba and snack spots in Charlotte.

We’re visiting from Seattle for our daughter’s Taekwondo tournament and wanted to find a great boba spot. We’re so glad we found TSAOCAA! We ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Mango Pomelo Sago, and Guava Tea, and they were honestly some of the best drinks we’ve ever had. Every drink was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The shop is spotless, modern, and very well organized. We also tried the snacks, and they were just as delicious—especially the Korean corn dog and fried chicken. I had such a great first experience at Tsaocaa Tea Cafe yesterday! I really appreciate that they have parking, which can sometimes be scarce in Plaza Midwood.The entire staff was so kind and friendly! I appreciate that they explained in detail what each item was that I inquired about. While I love talking to people, I really appreciate that there are kiosks that you can order from if you don’t feel like talking or you are in a rush—very thoughtful! I enjoyed a slice of the Mango Passionfruit Cheesecake. It was creamy and flavorful. I found the Mango Cream Boba drink to be refreshing and tasty.
