I’ve been here before for a breakfast burrito so I thought the food would have similar flavor consistency across the whole menu, which was not the case. We got the chicken and waffles for $20 the chicken and waffles both were so soggy which sucks because the waffle was super thick like Belgian style. The waffle also lacked flavor it was a hint of vanilla but overall bland and thick no sweetness to it the syrup couldn’t even help the dull taste. The chicken was so soggy and fatty it was wet to touch and that’s terrible for crispy fried chicken. The second meal was the “super special” for $20. I

While out shopping we always try to find a new spot to eat. Living on the southeast side in the Hyde Park area we ventured out to eat and found this location 8647 S Ashland. From the outside it looks small, but once inside OMG the menu and aroma was off the chain. The service and portion size were great. The prices were very reasonable and affordable. Another visit will be made.

Let me say this first…. My food was bangin! I mean I was going to town. I got the Tuesday special. 3 fried wings, 1 fluffy waffle and scrambled eggs with cheese. Had me doing my happy dance…….until it wasn’t. Got down to my last wing and quarter of my waffle. Took a bite of the chicken and tasted hot sauce. Sat back in my chair like, am I tripping? No! This wing had hot sauce all over it and was recooked. Pulled it apart and surely enough, discolored with red. Completely destroyed the meal as I don’t eat hot sauce on my breakfast.
