I am sharing this experience for awareness and transparency. On March 16 2026 approximately 10:45am, I purchased sandwiches from Tim Hortons for a group of teachers. During the meal, one of them discovered a metal screw inside the food. While no injury occurred, this presented a serious and preventable safety risk. The issue was reported shortly after the incident. however, there has been no meaningful response or follow-up from the company. I've been a regular customer here for a long time, buying at least two drinks a day, five days a week. The manager sees me almost daily, and we've always had pleasant interactions, which is why today's experience was so shocking. I ordered a large drink and received what was essentially a cup of ice with about an inch of foam. After one sip, the drink was gone. I just waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes to be told I had to go inside to place my gift card order because there were 7. Okay, policy is policy. I’m worried about being late but it’s whatever. I go inside and add food to the order. Wait an extra 5 minutes after the order and nothing. I’m then told I wasn’t charged for my sandwich so they didn’t make it. It’s too late I have to leave. I get to work late and without breakfast. Check my receipt and I was in fact charged.

I asked for a plain bagel with a very small amount of butter. They put so much on it couldn't get it off. Zero stars, awful experience. Im not even sure its butter. Smells like it though.
