This is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in town. The owner-chef, who was trained in Japan, brings a level of expertise and tradition that is becoming increasingly rare in this area. The food is truly authentic, focusing on quality and technique. During my visit tonight, I had the grilled saba (mackerel) and the deep fried aji (Spanish mackerel)—two delicacies that are difficult to find at other local Japanese spots. Both were exceptional. If you are looking for a dining experience that mirrors what you would find in Japan, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Best Japanese food I’ve had after moving here from Japan. No Japanese food in the area comes close to the food that served here. The selection is amazing with good sushi, ramen and tasty appetizers. The service is quick with servers that are very responsive and respectful to your needs. The atmosphere was very chill and peaceful with aspects that reminded me of restaurants you’d go to in Japan. Overall my favorite Japanese food place to go to and if you’re big into Japanese style food I’d highly recommend this place.

What a fantastic discovery to find this restaurant. Such incredibly delicious fresh sushi at a reasonable price, friendly warm service and such a convenient location. The chef was kind enough to allow my young daughters to observe and they basically got a lesson in sushi making. It was a wonderful experience for us.

Small, Cozy, and welcoming. I come here regularly and can confidently say it's my favorite place to eat in the area. Great food all around, from sushi to their japanese comfort food. They always seem to have something new in to try as well - always fun to see what the owner's wife has cooked up for the week. The staff is very nice and attentive.
