I’ve just found my own cozy breakfast diner and it’s amazing. I was enlightened by Steve, the man who brought the place back and now has it on the map where it’s been since the 50s with a long tradition. The cooks are hard-working and very good at their craft. I’ve been back to back and will continue if you’d like to sit down at an ole school diner check this place out.

I've really enjoyed eating here over the past year. I think that their she crab soup is some of the best in Tidewater!! Notice the empty bowl? Their limeade is so good too!! And their sandwiches are amazing!!!

If your ready to be wisked away to a nostalgic experience of old fashioned diners and down to earth fun and friendly staff Irwins is the place for you. The parking is somewhat limited but is handi capt accessible. Seating is limited to 4 booths a table and counter seating. If you want to eat in the restaurant on a Sunday you could be waiting a while to be seated unless you chose to wait at the counter. You can also call in and order for pickup. If you go I highly recommend the fresh squeezed lime or lemonaide, dont miss out on their amazing home fries and delectable Breakfast Club!

Omgee. We stumbled across this place by happenstance, and I am SO GLAD we did!! The food is homemade, the portions are great, the people are friendly and kind, and the whole experience was just amazing. It's located inside of a pharmacy. I'm full and satisfied, and already can't wait to come back again.
