Dinner after work with some friends. Much needed after our crazy week and the threat of snow on the horizon. I started with a Thai Iced Tea, perfect balance of sweet and flavor. Our table had soup, spring rolls, pad see yu, and green curry vegetables with tofu. Two opted for the coconut curry soup with chicken and one lemon grass with shrimp. I had the coconut soup, very flavorful. It did have some fibrous round straw like items that were hard to chew but not off putting enough to stop me from finishing the bowl. My wife and I have been coming here for about five years now. We think it is the best Thai restaurant in St. Louis. It was one of those days today, where things were not going well and I was looking forward to picking up some comfort food. One of my favorite dishes is their pad Thai. Seriously, it has the best taste and flavor of anywhere and the serving size is large. Large enough to definitely have another meal the next day. We have been here at least 20 times. Usually good but not today. Hair in spring roll and then our go-to main that we always get (10+ times) came out cold and they tried to tell us it’s not supposed to be warm/hot and could throw in microwave if we wanted. Weird debate but OK we don’t want it thanks. They comped the stuff we didn’t eat. The food caused us to leave but the debate is why we will not return.

Really great Thai food offerings but certainly not a place for a cheap noodle dinner. As a family of four, we dropped more than a c-note but it was worth it! A few notes on some of the dishes: The "crying tiger" appetizer was one of the best meat dishes I've ever had in a Thai restaurant. I really enjoyed about 1/3 of this dish before the 12-year old took it away from me. Big, beefy flavor with an amazing flavor profile. Simply exquisite! Grilled chicken satay had a great flavor but the texture of the chicken was a little off. I can't really put my finger on what they did but somehow the me
