Back for round two at Dollop Coffee! Dollop is welcoming and openly supportive of the LGBTQ community, with rainbow flags visible. Dollop has a clear activist heart, notably through their visible support for the community and signs regarding ICE (see photos). I stuck with an Americano again, and it didn't disappoint: fresh, creamy, and smelled like a fresh coffee you are craving for. Definitely a solid value for the Loop.

I found Dollop Coffee Co. while walking in Downtown Chicago this morning. The LGBT flags and anti-ICE signs told me immediately this was my kind of place. I was not disappointed. The latte I ordered was very good. It was in a to-go cup, so I can’t comment on the presentation (if that sort of important to you, review seeker). I had a yogurt parfait that was phenomenal. I think it was house made, but I’m not sure. It was seriously the best one I’ve ever had. I didn’t order any breakfast sandwiches or pastries, but I kind of regret it now. I wonder what it is like during the weekend. Is it busy? I ask because I came to work on my laptop for a couple hours, and had no problems whatsoever. It wasn't crowded per se, but just right! I ordered a regular small black coffee, which I found to be ridiculously expensive for what it was. Unfortunately, it didn't have a nice dark coffee taste; hence, I am giving the cafe 3 stars.

I needed a place to get some work done during lunch, so I grabbed a table at Dollop Coffee Co. The vibe inside is super relaxed and perfect for focusing. I ended up ordering their turkey pesto panini alongside an iced matcha latte. The panini was pressed perfectly and the matcha wasn't overly sweet. For a good sit-down spot with great food downtown, you really can't beat it.
