Solid spot in the Loop, super clean vibe and legit coffee at Intelligentsia. I came in for a quick lunch break and grabbed a cappuccino, iced latte, and a ham & cheese croissant—everything hit. Service was quick even when it was packed, and the baristas actually know what they’re doing. Would definitely come back, especially when I need a chill work spot downtown, good WiFi, and a solid pour-over game.

Located in the Monadnock building, entrance on W Jackson Blvd. We were on a "Foodie Tour" and our guide walked us through the Monadnock building. As coffee lovers, we noticed this place and made sure to return after our tour simply because it smelled so good. I ordered their 'Latte' and a 'Snickerdoodle Cookie'. The latte was the best I've ever had, anywhere! The Cookie was delicious too, very soft with the perfect sweetness to go with my drink. Their 'Daily Batch Brew' is also very good. Underwhelming. Place was empty and yet the baristas were not very welcoming or pleasant. Cafe itself is pretty sterile. Prices are high ($5.50 for an iced tea?). With so many other options around, perhaps try something else if looking for a decent coffee and pastry shop.

Great spot that feels straight out of the 1920 / 1930s featuring pastries, coffee, and pour overs. Service was quick and friendly, and everything i was delicious. Really liked the wide varieties of coffee they had on offer!
