Cash only Caffè Greco is one of those rare places that keeps drawing me back. This is my third visit, and every time I come here, I’m reminded why I love it so much. Love coming here to read! Have been here countless times and the tiramisu is great. The cash-only situation is quite frustrating because twice now we’ve not received the right amount of money back. The cashier didn’t count the money properly and instead assumed. They pushed back and argued it wasn’t rather than trusting me. I didn’t want the situation to escalate so I let it go but horrible customer service. You need to be counting the cash not assuming! Really disappointed.

The tiramisu is super overrated. It’s the worst tiramisu I have ever had in my life! The cream is frozen, the biscuit is tasteless and there is no coffee flavor. Even their Greco Grande cappuccino lacked the coffee flavor and wasn’t a strong capucinno. The seats are also right next to the each other to maximize customers at the cost of bad customer experience. The servers are rude and impatient. They took my order incorrectly and upon asking for clarification gave attitude for no reason. There is nothing Italian about this place. Feels like a scam!

Do I recommend Caffe Greco? Let's see... I was in the city for 2 days and came here 3 times. OF COURSE I'd recommend Caffe Greco! The coffee isn't burnt which I have grown accustomed to when getting coffee nowadays, sadly. They have their espresso machine calibrated just right so the coffee is PERFECT!
