Been here a few times to get food to go, the staff are always friendly and the place still somehow maintains some pretty reasonable prices despite everything going on. Great deals, great food, you can choose between regular Hawaiian BBQ, Chinese fast food or a mix of both and all options are good. Just note there is a .50 charge for card users on orders under $20, try to bring cash if you can. The bbq chicken plate I'm showing cost me 16.85 after tax and card fee, it normally has a scoop of macaroni but I asked for all rice.

Amazing food. So fresh and very flavorful. I love this type of Chinese food cause it doesn’t follow the panda express model. Reminds me of Chinese food front eh east coast. ! Girl in the front could be a bit nicer though lol

Update 10/25. Came by for my favorite Chinese American dishes. The jalapeño beef and mushroom chicken. Both still were very tender and flavorful, though they had a bit more soy sauce than before. See the two pictures maybe a year apart. Pretty sure the elderly chef wasn’t the one who cooked my lunch that day. The price remained reasonable, and now there’s a small surcharge for beef options. For an authentic Chinese American (and Hawaiian)food experience, this is a great place. We’ve been coming to this place since it opened 15-20 years ago and I’ve always ordered the same two-item combo: jala

I walk in to buy a combo for of BBQ beef and I get the smallest serving of macaroni salad.. For 20 dollars def expecting more for the price
