Moderate wait in line, but just long enough to dissect the menu and decide what to order. Staff was friendly and will bring the food out to the table (even if you are outside!). I am celiac (gluten allergy) and the kitchen was able to prepare my sandwich without cross contamination on gluten free bread. My expectations were not super high but this sandwich BLEW my socks off! Will def be back!

We stumbled upon Katzinger’s while just walking around German Village, and it turned out to be an absolute gem with a casual atmosphere and the best vibes. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind from the moment we walked in, making the experience even better. The food was great and the chopped liver and the Number 70 were packed with flavor, and the kid’s hot dog, mango citrus drink, and Blondie brownie were all hits. A huge bonus was that nothing was overly sugary or too sweet, especially the drink and dessert, which balanced the flavors perfectly. Everything was great from start to finis

There is a large step to enter if you are in a wheelchair you will need help. The food was good. The rye bread was special. The pickles and very soft and delicious. I have been to delis and the portions are larger and the corn beef has a deeper taste. It's just a litter than true German flavors. So I took a star off for that. Parking can be very hard and so can seating. But its worth the wait. I say try it once.

Good friends from Columbus recommended this deli and I'm so glad we tried it. If you're looking for authentic eastern delicatessen food, this is the place to go. The "deli size" sandwiches are huge so we ordered a small one. The kugel was served hot which is exactly as it should be. The self-serve barrel of complimentary pickles is a nice touch.
