It is rare to find a place where everything was good. Food, atmosphere, service, the bathrooms even were just outstanding. My first visit but my husband has been several times for work dinners. Tonight we had the zucchini fries to start, hubby had prime rib with salad and creamy spinach, I had coconut shrimp with creamy spinach and sweet green beans (prob the best green beans I've ever had in my life!), desserts we had the key lime pie and bread pudding (the sauce on this was heavenly). This place was packed, but Plenty of parking in front of business We were greeted when my party arrived. Long wait for steak dinner. I ordered a bronze ribeye, baked potato with chives & cheese with a garden salad dressed with raspberry vinaigrette. Be aware they do put bacon on all of their salads, except the Ceasar!!! I do think my steak tasted a lil'bit like pork & it was well done, not medium well...The keylime pie was something good to talk about! Overall a good experience

This review is long overdue! I visited Mike's Place in July 2024. The atmosphere was clean, warm, and inviting. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits: jumbo gulf shrimp piled on Southern grits topped with a savory butter sauce. They were the best shrimp and grits i had ever had! The Mike's Place team was kind and attentive. I highly recommend Mike's Place!

Calamari was good. Softest I’ve ever had not rubber and chewy at all. Apple martinis were delicious especially with bits of dried apple in them. Yummm. Had the shrimp and grits. Again delicious. The crème brûlée custard was ok. The topping was too chewy like toffee. The chocolate cake was good.
