Maggie P.★★★★★Great Indian food! Mutter paneer was delicious and very flavorful with just enough heat and so was the Mulligatawny soup. I’ve also ordered some baby samosas stuffed with potatoes and peas which I forgot to take a picture of and it was wonderful as well albeit a little dry but the sauces they give help you with that. So far it’s been good! If I ever stay in Brookline again I will most certainly come back.
Llama Beam★★★Decent samosas, but my group's food got cold kinda fast for some reason. Get medium spicy at least unless you want no flavor. Naan and roti taste similar, I think I've had better. Lamb korma was tasty and the club music is fun Weekend buffet with mainly chicken dishes and samosas closes at 3pm. Had to flag the server down several times and was forced to tip a certain %?? Wearing flipflops isn't hygienic or professional either
Rudy Matheson★★★★★The restaurant’s interior is neat and there’s plenty of seats available. They have many orders for delivery, but my food came out within 20 minutes. Server has thick Indian accent, so a sign that food is authentic!! Server is nice and friendly. I ordered lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka, and mango lassi. Their mango lassi is refreshing and fresh. I can really taste the mango flavor in it. Chicken tikka was juicy and absolutely rich in spice. Condiments that came with it are flavorful but I doubt its needed. Lamb vindaloo sauce is rich and spicy. The lamb is perfectly cooked, it’s neither gamey nor
Ari Lohr★★★★★Listennnn. Shan-A-Punjab absolutely slaps. For me (a white guy who has never been to India) my judge of a good Indian restaurant is the quality of its naan. This place has some of the best naan in Boston — crispy, flavorful, light but “full”. And the entrees are delicious, brimming with flavor and served in good portions. The staff are always kind and attentive, and both the quality of food and of the service have remained consistent for the 4+ years that I have come here. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
