From walking in and noticing right away a server had time to play on their phone. I knew I was doomed. Mexican being my favorite of all foods I’m very disappointed in my entire experience. The food was bland for being Mexican. I ordered enchilada Rojas with steak quesadillas and beef empanadas with GREASE sauce. Not sure what that sauce was but it was straight grease. The enchiladas had zero sauce really dry, the empanadas were mushy with no meat to speak of. Don’t even get me started on the non-fresh hard rice they serve. Margaritas were an insult to margaritas. The last but most crazy item.

Out of town visitor my wife went to school at BU. Disregard the bs reviews about straws and kitchen fees. These guys make great food and gave excellent service! Birria Quesadillas and Shrimp tacos were fantastic with a cantina margarita. Would bring this into the schedule for the next visit.

Are you for real? A “kitchen appreciation fee”?! I have literally never, ever seen something like this. We double checked the menu and it did not say that we would be charged a fee for the kitchen to do what they’re paid to do. If you can’t pay your kitchen staff and pass on your own responsibilities to customers in the form of hidden fees, then don’t run a restaurant. I’d rather have slightly higher, but transparent prices for food rather than sneaky and absurd fees added to the check. Food was mediocre. About what you’d expect for a Mexican joint catering to college kids and show goers.
