I decided to come here last week for a meal, and it was okay. Like one of the reviews said, it was not bad, but not the worse either. I got the full rack of ribs, which were a touch bland, and I think it needed more bbq sauce. The fries are definitely not fresh, and came out mushy, and not crispy. The coleslaw was absolutely delicious. It was seasoned nicely and very flavorful. The lemonade was a bit strange. It tasted homemade but needed to be sweeter. Very watered down. I would return but I hope Shorty's takes these comments and elevates their food. I would be willing to try again due to the

It certainly isn't the best food, but it's decent. We have a sentimental attachment to this place, so whenever we're near one of their locations, we go! This time around, the food wasn't exactly top-notch, but I don't regret going. The price for the kids' meal is very fair—just $4.99. The ribs were a bit tough, but the corn and cornbread were delicious and succulent, as always. Atmosphere it's good and service too

I’ve been to Shorty’s BBQ in Davie several times, and overall it’s a solid spot. The food is consistent, and the corn on the cob is really good — definitely one of my favorite sides there. The place has a casual, laid-back vibe that makes it easy to stop by for a relaxed meal. It’s a good option when you’re craving BBQ and want something familiar and satisfying. 🌽

My first time here and my last! I waited a long time for my chicken wrap just to get soggy fries and and a bland wrap. The chicken was cooked well but had no flavor. I would not recommend any to-go orders here, not sure if the dine-in experience is any better.
