I came in today for the first time. We literally came 10 mins before closing time. They didnt have to serve us.. BUT.. Let me tell you.. from the moment I walked in, until the moment I left. I felt so welcomed. The 2 ladies in the front were so nice! , the dude Peter was awesome with recommendations. And then we met the owner Kitty! She gave us 2 jumbo shrimps to try for free! Fish and chips were tasty, but I still can't get over the hush puppies. They were perfectly cooked and so well seasoned, that I regret not getting a second order. If you remember H Salt Esq, this is it, new name, same wonderful people and food. Definitely a keeper.

If you're in the mood for light and crispy, delicious fish and chips, then, get yourself over to this quaint spot in Covina. I've been around the area many times never knew that they were there. The owners are very kind and sweet people who shared that.They have been here for sixty one years! I can see why other items on the menu consist of hush puppies, coleslaw fried mac and cheese calamari shrimp and many other things. There's not much seating.Most people seem to pick up to go.But again totally worth it.
