We went here on my son's actual birthday since he wanted Hotpot and we wanted to try out a new place. When we walked in, the host was on a call and kept us waiting for more than 5 minutes. I am not sure why she did not place the person on hold for a minute while she sat us down (thats how long it took). Once we got to our seat, the service went great and our server helped us navigate their menu since it was our first time. The broths had great flavor and the meat was fresh. Literally thee best authentic hotpot restaurant in the Bay Area imho. And yes I’ve tried all the generic suggestions across the entire Bay. Erin was our server & was EXTREMELY accommodating. Making sure we were constantly checked on, always brought out more ordered food promptly, refilled our soup bases the moment they ran low & all with respectful etiquette (physically & verbally). This is honestly one of the cleaner and better maintained Haidilao locations I’ve been to. The environment was great. The sauce bar was wiped down regularly and kept very organized, which made everything feel much more comfortable and hygienic. Service was excellent as always, and our server Emily was especially kind and attentive throughout the meal. No words for the food, love Haidilao always :)
